Be careful flying Mam and returning to land at Windy Knoll too low over the westerly ridge it creates serious rotor. I have spoken to two pilots in the last few weeks who were kicked by it but thankfully were ok. There is no need to overfly the ridge just fly out and around unless you are really high.
