It is with immense sadness that I have to inform you of the death of Mick Bostock on Stanage yesterday. He suffered an incident in rough air and impacted the ground near the takeoff. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The events leading up to this will be the subject of investigation by Police, Coroner and the BHPA.

Mick was widely known and universally respected, He was out regularly both on derbyshire and coastal sites and has done a fantastic job as our Membership Secretary for many years. He will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this devastating time.
