Members must have short video of things that learnt when doing there SIV? Put up a link and share the skill?
No idea who this is but looks like a Mentor wing. https://vimeo.com/465558191 Looks like he/she gets the hang of it. Steve.
My SIV course - https://youtu.be/xOMo5w7Amgk
Went wrong at 18:23 doing a turn reversal, too hard on brake induced a spin, Jockey instructed me to stall to reset the wing ---- this is a very important skill to practice.
I stalled the wing but released a little quick and uncontrolled. I have since used this technique for real in Spain and releasing slowly gave a perfect exit.
Do an SIV, practice stalls and don't be afraid to use the technique to reset your wing.
Interesting watching Pete's stalls and a recovery from a cravat/spin by stalling out - https://www.facebook.com/pete.newbold.12/videos/10153682665828249
