Hi Folks,

My apologies for not being more engaged with this forum over recent months, I have been busy planning and implementing a major update to the club's website.

In about 3-5 days time this website will be receiving a major upgrade. We've been working hard to produce a modern website that combines this forum (powered by SMF) and the CMS / blogging platform Wordpress, in a cohesive manner. Additionally the new website should be largely (if not entirely) responsive, meaning you should be able to use it without issue from a smartphone or tablet.

This will enable us not just to provide a basic forum, but opens up the possibility of having news posts, social media integration, galleries, articles, reference pages, coaching materials, an online site guide, a members area with content for paid up members of the club, RSS Feeds... the possibilities are boundless!

The transition should be a smooth one,  you will continue to log in with the same details as you do now, that is, the email that you registered with and your password.

As with any website rollout there are bound to be snags, if you encounter the new site and can't log in or have some other issue, just drop me an email to webmaster@derbyshiresoaringclub.org.uk and I'll help you out as quickly  as I can!
