The deadline for response to the Green Paper is 2nd October 2105.

Back in July we emailed you about the opportunity to comment on a Consultation Green Paper for Access & Outdoor Recreation. Originally expected in late 2013 but stalled due to extensive lobbying by land owners andsporting rights holders who weren't happy with the new ideas on improved access.
This Green Paper provides an opportunity to put forward the outdoor sectors views on how the Welsh Government should change the legal framework related to access to land, water, coast and sea, across Wales.
This is a unique opportunity, and one we feel is really important for anyone with an interest in the outdoors to respond to.
The BMC have published their response and it is a good starting point for anyone who is considering submitting their own response.

Steve - I split this into its own topic, it seems important enough to have it's own thread and was not in fact directly related to the path survey.

Do you think the committee should issue a joint response to this as well as asking the membership to get involved?
