Couple of reminders for newer pilots to bear in mind which were discussed at last committee meeting.
1. Bradwell landing fine - If you misjudge the landing at Bradwell and land in the farmers field before the normal bottom landing you need to pay the club a £5 fine which we pay to the farmer. If you do land short exit the farm by the gate do not climb any walls.
2 Mam NW - If you are not comfortable flying in busy skies consider alternate sites at busy times. Last Wednesday was a good example. I started on Lords which was uncrowed and a better option for newbies. If you are unsure ask the Coaches, Ash Ghinn has posted a new list on the club site - https://derbyshiresoaringclub.org.uk/…/coachi…/club-coaches/ . I still try to avoid "crowds" and often go to less popular alternate sites.
And if you would like to get more involved and help your club please contact a committee member.
