Hi All
Sorry, you may have seen something remarkably similar to this on the new joiner section. I've just got a Flymaster GPS and need some advice on whether to go for a leg or harness attachment.
Also, the curve of the sticky pad that came with my new camera isn't the same as the curve on my helmet, Will it flex enough to get all over adhesion.

Hi Andrew,
Depends on how big a difference curvature is. You could heat it up with a heat gun or hairdryer to manipulate a bigger/lesser curve, but through experience if you're relying on the stick pad to maintain the curvature then you may find it falling off during the heat of the summer.
I got fed up with my standard mounting as it made the camera stick out like tentacle. I looked at loads of different options and decided to make my own from sugru and neodymium magnets. After 90 hours flying time it's held up brilliantly and because it's held in place with neodymium magnets it allows me to quickly grab the camera in flight to fiddle with settings or the obligatory selfie then quickly snap it back in place with no fuss.
Dead easy to do and I'll try and take some pics later to show you
Flymaster, Leg attachment is ok but has a tendency to twist and move about on the leg. I used to have one but could never get on with it for these reasons. Although I know someone whose sewn a velcro patch on their trousers, but for me I far prefer a harness mount as you can generally position it in a better more visible/closer place that makes it easier to read. But down to personal taste really.
