Hi Tony,
Welcome to DSC. I am still a fairly new paraglider pilot just over 2 years in. Not really sure who coaches hangies. Gordon Rigg sometimes offers advice to hangie pilots. If you are looking for a bit more tution then might be worth talking to Steve Hudson CFI who teaches hangies and paragliders. Ash Ghinn is Chief Coach who should be able to put yon in touch with a hangie coach. Good luck.

Hi Tony,
There are not many active HG coaches. If you want to practice bunny hops I would suggest talking to Steve Hudson CFI 0776 2729663 who should be able to offer some advise on the best slopes to practice. I would also talk to Gordon Rigg who is a top HG pilot and tends to help and advise HG pilots. The list of club coaches is here: https://derbyshiresoaringclub.org.uk/members-area/coaching/club-coaches/ You could also try having a chat with Bernard Clewer and Andy Wallis. If you pop in to Avian in Bradwell, Steve will be able to tell you all about the Rio - http://www.avianonline.co.uk/meet-team-i-10.html. Good luck.
Hi Tony, we've exchanged emails, I made you a set of wires for your Rio. There's a general DSC Telegram group, there's also one specific for Hangies. Send me your phone number and I'll add you. People usually post on that when it's flyable so you'll be out when there's other people out.
It's sounds like it would be useful to you to get a quick refresher course first though, and as others have said Steve Hudson is the guy for that.
If you were flying a Calypso then you'll feel at home on the Rio, it'll be pretty similar level in performance and handling, a good choice for making a return to the air on.
