I did my EP and CP with FlySpain three years ago, however due to living in London since then I haven't been able to paraglide. Now I've moved to Manchester I'm keen to get back into it, but have absolutely no idea where to start - I'm guessing joining DSC is a good place to start...?
I've struggled to find an instructor in the area (they all seem to be packing up!), does the club offer any kind of mentoring? I don't want to annoy people, and want to pay for lessons, but as I said it just doesn't seem to be working. If anyone can help that would be great š
I'm also after kit as well (I definitely want to get into paragliding!), but again have no idea where to start - any tips? I'd be looking for second hand kit.

I agree if it's been sometime since you passed your CP it would be wise to seek some instruction before taking to the hills,
I would suggest you give Steve Hudson a ring as not only is he an excellent instructor but good for advise on kit.
