Hi all,

My name is Ian Anderson and a Hangglider CP.  I may have met a few of you as I've been learning.  I've downloaded the application form and will send it in soon - promise.

You've probably seen a few of my posts on the Facebook site.  I'm an avid watcher of top and bottom landings.  Find I've learned a lot from reading your posts and will probably have loads of questions.

I've recently bought a Fly15 from Tim Swait, am CP on the tow and currently doing a hill conversion with Steve Hudson. Hoping to be out with you all very soon!

Keep an eye out in next months SkyWings.  I think I may have an article in there.

Thanks for having me,

Ian

Hi Ian,

Welcome to the club. I am the new members officer and try to get out as often as I can. I also trained with Steve but I only fly paragliders. Gordon Rigg is the chap to know for hang gliding and is doing a talk on Wave flying at 7pm at Camphill Sunday, if you don't know him its a good chance to meet him.

Thanks Chris,

Unfortunately and I say this with a wry smile, I'm on holiday in Portugal this weekend otherwise I would absolutely love to attend Gordon's discussion on Wave flying.  I know of Gordon - he is a frequent and very accomplished flyer.  I look forward to meeting everyone on the hill very soon.

Very warmest regards,

Ian
